Oh, well.
Anyways, maybe today is the ideal day to write.
The school had an Independence Day parade, and I participated.
All the senior girls wore the ballet outfit with a slanted, longer skirt (which btw is see-through), and held yellow flags, which we swung most of the time. The senior boys were soldiers. They all looked so handsome. Something about the serious expressions on their faces. In the end, we danced at the rec, and I think I sucked. Whatever, I earned six golden points.
I wore the ballet suit until today. I don't feel completely comfortable with it, especially the butt area.
Everyody wears makeup but me. I understand that my mother never taught us any of that stuff 'cause she never used any of that stuff. Honestly, I'd like to try some. Simple things and natural looks. And I will. Soon. Maybe for the graduation. Or maybe until I leave.
During the practice yesterday with Mrs. Turcios, she gave a leading role to me. It didn't last long. But that's okay, I know I suck at coreographies. Although, for a moment I felt important. I want that feeling again.
I've been lazy about reading. Benjamin gave me David Copperfield and I'm ashamed at how little I've read. I know those old books are hard to keep up with 'cause they can get boring at times but I gotta pick it up.
I have five days without anything in the agenda.
No news on the REACH date request I made Ms. Sarah. I'll have to talk to her personally.
