Nothing really special about last week.
Nothing really special about last week. I continued to watch Netflix, I finished a book, and I handled some leaks in the roof. I slept little though.
Friday though, I went to school 'cause Mrs. Ilze invited me to "help". I figured I'd be cutting papers for the spelling bee decorations. I get there with this welcome, "que guapa viniste para pintar". Ugh. I had to help paint giant pieces of cloth that was supposed to resemble a bee hive, which btw was horrible, and walls. I did little though. Ha. (My lip burst open.)
Anyway, I spent most of my time there with Fernando (Mrs. Ilze's son). We chatted while waiting for Daphne in the library. I asked him what his major was. He hadn't one. Hm.
Then we painted, I laughed when he broke a window and we made fun of him. I got hit in the head by Daphne. Mr. Marcial showed up to help. That was nice. But then Profe Gerardo shows up and watched. The moron. He took over Daphne's work. I left soon after.
I got my dibujo stuff and packed my things.
Noor's gang was there supposedly helping Angelo with the Valentine's day party although I didn't see no helping.
Oh, at some point when I was alone with Fernando in the library, Anna and Monse showed up. The little batch Anna was all over him.
Anyway, I said goodbye to Mrs. Ilze. She asked what I did in the library and I said I'd gotten some more books. I think they talked about me (Ms. Sarah, Mr. Carlos and Mrs. Illze). Stupid Ms. Sarah was her annoying know-it-all self. Batch.
I was the only student helping. Let them think.
Because I didn't have TES, I went to a Red Cross meeting. We were doing the POA. Zelaya was there. It was okay.
For GJ, contra todos los obstáculos, we had the meeting at Meli's house. It was nice. The topic was: How do I know if it's love. Bottomline is there's no príncipe azul and it's not love if God's not involved.
On Sunday, I made the announcement to the entire church, on a mic, about our sale next Sunday, and I invited the young adults to attend our meetings. I felt important.
Today I went to the football game, finally. Mrs. Ilze took us in her really small car. Anna, both Fernandos and Diego were there too, Anna on Diego's lap. If she felt uncomfortable, I don't mind that I hit my head on the window a million times.
Anyway, right before, in the classroom, she and Fernando were all over each other, and I thought, "she can have him, he's too goofy anyway". And he is. He hasn't any plans for the future and the future has come already. I like my men to be focused, determined, and passionated about a goal. His initial cuteness has died away for me.
Another realization was that nobody laughed at my jokes or funny remarks. I don't like that. They don't get my humor.
We won!
Fer was next to me so I had someone to tell my hilarious comments to. I screamed a lot. Mr. Inglés was near and he kept having this look like, this kids are so loud. As if he wasn't one a year ago. I liked the attention though.
Mrs. Hyde arrived and I kept yelling. She commented that she was getting nervouse just by listening to me. Nice treat. Her brat of a daughter was sitting right next to me (Hersley's cousin was too, for a bit) saying how we were bffs. Ugh. It's actually pretty funny.
I got a ride with José Flores, whose mother is so nice that she didn't mind taking Adolfo to his house all the way to el Naranjal.
Esther and I have this 27 day challenge of situps, crunches and squats. It's a nice bonding experience and good nightly workouts (but don't tell her I said that, um, nobody reads this).
