One Man, One God
There once was a man,
Whose eyes were open.
He knew there was one
God named him Abraham.
His father made idols,
Which he crushed with
fists.
“My God doesn’t like
When you pray to these.”
He left his country,
With his wife and nephew,
As God commanded,
To a promised land.
He had two sons,
Ishmael and Isaac,
But one was chosen,
And it was Isaac.
God gave an order,
To offer Him Isaac.
Abraham had to
Do as he wished.
But an angel saw,
He was a loyal,
And the son remained,
Unharmed and faithful.
Isaac became the
Promise of the Lord.
And the Israelites
Had their leader.
A land for Sara
To rest in peace,
Became the land
Of the Israelites.
Abraham the man,
Who spoke to God,
Lived a long age and
Returned to his God.
