Life Update

Can we pretend that I haven't been absent for as long as I have?

I have a problem with following up on personal projects. Something about the thrill of the pressure and adrenaline of deadlines does it for me to excel at work or academics.

So, I graduated university. Bachelor 's degree in Energy Engineering. Not one related work experience yet.

Now I work. At a call center. But hey, I was promoted to Team Leader, so that's something worthwhile, right?

And just as always, my plan to flee is ongoing. It's actually in motion this time.
Step 1 was to choose where to go, which is hard since I'd rather be anywhere but where I am, yet I chose Canada.
Step 2 was to get in and I got in! To Centennial College, for a post-secondary diploma. Yeah, it's a step down from a Bachelor's, but due to my lack of experience in the field of interest, a Master's is still just out of reach.
Now I'm on step 3: collect the money. Unfortunately, I'm not going on any scholarship. So, although for any other Canadian, the amount of money I need is a laugh, for a third-world citizen like me, it'll cost me my parents house (almost literally). I intend to make the money myself and pay for all of it, but it'll take time, which is of the essence if I want to get a student permit by the semester start date, and I'm currently a victim of measly wages.

I'll just keep trying to break down this process in steps that can be realistically taken and hope that for once what I want is also what I need.
